Try grilling this delicious starter when you have a barbecue.
Time – 25 minutes
material: Serves 12 – Makes 2 dozen.
- 24 fresh jalapenos
- 350g sausage or pork chorizo
- 12 pieces bacon (cut in half)
Preparation:
Wash the peppers and remove the stems. Make a cut along each pepper.
Remove the seeds from the peppers, wash and dry.
Cook the sausage in a skillet over medium heat until no longer pink. drain.
Stuff the peppers with chorizo and wrap them in bacon. Secure with toothpicks.
Roast the peppers, uncovered, over medium heat for about 15 minutes, or until tender and the bacon is crispy, turning frequently.
