Pineapple Atole – Mexican Recipe


Another variety of the popular atole.

material: For 4 people

  • 1 liter of water just before boiling
  • Sugar as you like
  • 1 pod cinnamon
  • 1 can of pineapple
  • A little corn dough*
  • Pineapple juice 150g

*Corn starch can be substituted with corn dough.


Add the corn batter little by little to the boiling water and stir well until it thickens.

Add pineapple and juice to blender

Next, put the pineapple in a saucepan, add cinnamon and a little sugar and cook.

Add this to the corn batter and stir constantly until it boils. Add sugar if desired.

Ready to drink on a cold afternoon.
