Mexican Hot Chocolate – Mexican Recipes

This delicious hot chocolate is not too sweet, has a distinct cocoa flavor, and is delicately seasoned with spices. The combination of cinnamon and chocolate is exquisite. The cocoa will remain at the bottom of the cup if you don’t stir it, and a cinnamon stick is perfect for this.

material: For 4 people

  • 1/4 cup cocoa
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • cloves or powdered nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 3 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • Whipped cream
  • cinnamon stick

Preparation:

Combine cocoa and sugar in a small saucepan. Then add water. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and cook, stirring constantly, for 2 minutes.

Add cloves, cinnamon, and milk. Simmer for 5 minutes (do not boil).

Stir and add the vanilla.

Pour the hot chocolate into the cup. Pour some heavy cream or fresh cream on top. Stir using a cinnamon stick.
