How to make marble red velvet donuts
First, cream the butter and sugar, add the eggs one at a time, then add half the sifted flour along with the yeast.
Finally add the yogurt, salt, remaining flour and vanilla.
Divide the mixture between two bowls and add food coloring to one of them.
Pour the mixture, spoonful at a time, into the buttered and floured mold, alternating the red and regular batter, stirring gently with a toothpick to create a marble pattern.
Then cook in a static oven preheated to 180 ° C for about 40-45 minutes, remove from the oven and leave until completely cool.
Prepare the icing by combining egg whites, powdered sugar, and lemon juice in a bowl and mixing until you get a liquid, homogeneous mixture.
Next, pour the icing over the donut and let it run a little along the edges.
The red velvet donut with marble pattern is completed. Now all you have to do is decorate with currants, let the icing dry and eat.
