A creamy cheese sauce with a spicy taste. Green salsa with tomatillos is great in the summer, but good quality tomatillos are hard to come by in the winter, so this recipe uses the same creamy cheese-based ingredient instead, and I’ve had success.

Preparation: 10 minutes

material: Makes 8 servings

  • 225 g fresh cheese or low-fat cream cheese
  • 1 bunch fresh coriander
  • 1 jalapeño pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic, or to taste
  • 1 tomato (chopped)

Preparation:

  1. Place cream cheese in a bowl.

  1. Combine the cilantro, jalapeño, and garlic in a food processor or blender until finely chopped.

  2. Add the chopped mixture to the cream cheese and mix with a hand mixer until smooth.

  3. Then add the tomatoes to the creamy cheese sauce. Serve with warm tortillas.
