Fluffy fried fritters are a hit at Christmas parties, especially with children.
material:
- 1 1/4 cups granulated sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1-3/4 cup flour
- oil for frying
Preparation:
In a large bowl, beat the eggs with 2 tablespoons of the sugar using an electric mixer. Mix until creamy.
Add milk, butter, and salt and mix until everything is well combined. Add flour little by little. Stir with a wooden spoon until the batter resembles pancake batter.
Heat the oil in a deep frying pan. Heat until oil temperature reaches 350°F.
Add the batter to the pan a tablespoon at a time and fry the fritters until golden brown.
Transfer fritters to paper towels to drain. Dress the fritters with the remaining sugar before serving.
