How to realize carnival wonders
Place all ingredients in a planetary mixer or bowl and work until a smooth, homogeneous ball forms.
Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and place in the refrigerator to rest for 1 hour.
Roll out the dough to 1mm thick and use a round pastry cutter to make a number of discs.
Fry in very hot seed oil and when the discs are golden brown, flip them over so the other side is browned as well and place on absorbent paper to dry.
The carnival wonders are ready. All you have to do is decorate with plenty of powdered sugar and enjoy.
