material: (For 4 people)

  • 1 1/2 liters milk
  • 1 cinnamon or vanilla stick
  • 1 1/3 cups sugar
  • 1/4 cup corn honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup walnuts for garnish

Preparation:

Boil 1 liter of milk with cinnamon or vanilla and baking soda in a copper container (you can use a thick saucepan). Mix the sugar with the remaining 0.5 liters of milk and heat, stirring continuously until golden brown.

Pour the golden milk and honey into a pot of boiling milk and simmer over very low heat, stirring occasionally, until the mixture thickens and you can see the bottom when you run it through a spoon. Remove from heat. Let cool before serving.

You can add walnuts or decorate as you like.
