How to make animal pancakes
Mix the eggs with the sugar, add the flour and yeast, then add the milk and oil.
Once you have a smooth dough, cover it with plastic wrap and leave it for 30 minutes.
After resting, prepare the pancakes by cooking the dough in a lightly oiled non-stick pan.
Cook 1-2-3 tablespoons at a time, depending on the size you want to make. I used a regular sized pancake for the head, a medium sized pancake for the face, and a small pancake for the ears.
Once the pancakes are cooked, you can assemble the small animals. My first pancake animal is a small owl, the eyes and chest feathers are simulated with banana slices, the pupils are blueberries, and the beak and wings are simulated with strawberries.
Then I made a little monkey using chocolate chips for the nose and mouth and blueberries for the eyes.
I also made a piglet using only strawberries for the ears, blueberries for the eyes, and two chocolate chips for the nostrils.
Finally, we created an amazing lion using clementines for the mane and nose, chocolate chips for the muzzle, and blueberries for the eyes.
The animal pancakes are complete. You can add a little honey if you like, but in my opinion, it’s very pretty and delicious on its own!
