This is a very popular drink throughout the country and is made by grinding cooked corn into small pieces and dissolving it in water. During cooking, fruit puree (strawberry, almond, guava) or milk flavored with pods (cinnamon, vanilla) is usually added to intensify the flavor.
Made with white or yellow corn dough, it has a sweet flavor and is typical of Mexico and the state of Michoacán, hot 6 cups of water. Dissolve 1 cup of corn dough in 2 cups of water, strain and add to boiling water. Don’t stop stirring until it thickens.
It is made from seeds and fruits and has a base of water, sugar and a drop of lemon. Add 1 liter of ice water to the ground and candied melon seeds, chopped melon and lemon juice. It can be made using strawberries, kiwi and other fruits.
