Stuffed Steak – Mexican Recipe

  • 800 grams.fillet
  • 250 grams.asadero cheese
  • 380 grams.mexican sauce
  • 1/2 onion
  • 250g gourd tomatoes
  • 1 guajillo chile
  • 300ml.light beer
  • 75ml.tequila
  • Nopales 400g


Cut the fillets in half, stuff them generously with asadero cheese, season with salt and pepper, and refrigerate.

Roast tomatoes, guajillo peppers, and onions in comal.

Mix with Mexican sauce, beer, and tequila. (The sauce tastes better if you make it the day before).

Return to the pot and simmer over medium heat for 15 minutes and set aside.

Grill the steak and finish by melting the cheese in the oven.

Marinate the nopales in sauce and grill.

Serve the fillets hot in the sauce.
