How to make Christmas pudding cookies
First, cream the butter and sugar, then add the egg yolks, then the sifted powder (flour, yeast, spices) and work until you get a homogeneous dough.
Make many walnut-sized balls, place them at intervals on a baking sheet lined with baking paper, flatten them with the bottom of a glass, and bake in an oven preheated to 180℃ for about 10 minutes. Alternatively, let cool completely until the edges are just barely golden (don’t worry if the biscuits are still soft; they will thicken as they cool).
Prepare the icing. Start whisking the egg whites, then add lemon and sugar and mix until a smooth mixture is obtained.
Next, proceed to icing the biscuits. I created the decorations by icing the halves and adding some sprinkles.
Let stand at room temperature for at least 1-2 hours or until icing is completely dry.
Once your Christmas pudding cookies are ready, all you have to do is serve them.
