Chicken in milk sauce is a recipe that originally originated in the city of Rosario in the state of Chihuahua. Preparation is easy. Enjoy… enjoy!

material: For 6 people

  • 1 chicken, chopped
    6 carrots
    2 onions
    90g butter
    Ham 1/4kg
    1 pinch of aromatic herbs
    1 bay leaf
    3 tablespoons vinegar
    Salty as you like
  • for milk sauce
    1 cup milk

    20g butter
    1 tablespoon flour
    1 pinch of pepper
    1 pinch of nutmeg
    1 lemon
    Salty as you like

Preparation:

Heat the oven. Cut the ham into medium cubes, cut the carrot into thin slices, and do the same with the onion.

Place the chicken on a baking sheet and add the ham, carrots, onions, herbs, and vinegar.

Lower the oven temperature to 120℃ and bake for 30 minutes. Don’t forget to season the chicken with the juices from time to time.

To make the sauce, heat the milk in a saucepan large enough to hold all the chicken, and once it begins to boil, melt the butter.

Once the butter has melted, add the flour, pepper and nutmeg, stir and boil for a few minutes.

Add the lemon juice at the end, remove any seeds to prevent the sauce from becoming bitter, and simmer for another minute..

Dip the chicken in the sauce and enjoy.
