  • 450g ground beef
  • 1 onion (chopped)
  • 459 g beans, washed and drained
  • 800g diced tomatoes (without draining)
  • 300 g corn kernels (drained)
  • 3/4 cup hot sauce
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • Garlic powder 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon
  • Corn chips, sour cream, and grated cheddar cheese (optional)

Preparation:

Sauté the meat and onions in a large skillet over medium heat until the meat is no longer pink, then drain.

Transfer to a slow cooker (about 3 liter size).

Add beans, tomatoes, corn, hot sauce, chili powder, and garlic powder and mix. Cover and simmer on low heat for 3-4 hours.

Serve with corn tortillas, sour cream, and cheese, if desired.
